About Me
Hi, I'm Sam! For as long as I can remember, cats have felt like family. I grew up with them, have two of my own, and began cat sitting at just 13 years old for neighbors and family friends. Nearly two decades later, I still consider it one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.The more time I spend with cats, the more I appreciate how differently they experience the world. Some find comfort in play, others in routine, and others simply in knowing someone familiar has arrived. That's why I never approach cat sitting as a checklist. I approach it as a relationship that's built one visit at a time, creating the familiarity and consistency that helps both cats and their owners feel more at ease.In addition to In Good Paws, I'm also the founder of Illuminate: Art of Order, a professional organizing company, and The Katara Code, a coaching business focused on personal growth and relationships. On the surface they may seem like very different businesses, but to me they've always been connected. At the heart of each one is the opportunity to make someone's life a little easier, whether that's through their home, their personal growth, or the care of a beloved cat.
